Zecira Musovic extends contract with Chelsea

Zecira Musovic has signed a new contract with Chelsea, keeping the goalkeeper at the club until the summer of 2025.

On putting pen-to-paper, Musovic said: "Coming to Chelsea was one of my best decisions. I am really thankful for the time I’ve had here so far. I’ve been able to work with the best coaches in the world - the goalkeeping coach, and Emma and her team. I really enjoy working with them and to play with the players I have around me, the people I have around me.

"I feel like this is my family here in England so I’m really pleased with the time I’ve had here so far. I feel like this is just the start and the best is yet to come. I’m really excited to see how far we can go as a team, but also me individually.’

General manager Paul Green said: ‘We are delighted that Zecira has extended her contract with the club. She has developed significantly during her time here, and we are looking forward to seeing her progress further in the years to come."
