Glasner's glass more than half full despite Palace failure to repeat FA Cup triumph over Man City

Oli Glasner said he took as much satisfaction from the performance against Man City on Sunday as in some games the Eagles have won this year - despite the 3-0 loss.
Palace could have leapt up to fourth in the table with a win and their first-half performance suggested they might unseat the title chasers, as they did in May's FA Cup final.
In the end, Erling Haaland's header gave Pep Guardiola's team a fortunate lead and they wrapped up the points in clinical fashion in the second half.
Yet Palace's boss agreed he was more impressed with his team this time out than he was when they won last week's derby at Fulham.
"We are always talking about the performance and [compared to] our last two away wins at Burnley and Fulham, it was better - just that then we were very efficient and today no," Glasner said.
"When you are playing one of the top teams in the world and you want to beat them, you need to be top in every single part of the game. In nine out of 10 parts I think we were excellent today, but in the most important one, the finishing, we were not good enough. Nobody misses chances on purpose and for me the most important thing is getting players into those [goalscoring] situations."
Glasner added: "City were more efficient than we were. They took their chances and we missed them. We've had six games against City since I am here and won once in the cup final. Again we were competitive but the result doesn't show it. Many parts of the game today were excellent. We kept them to two chances in the first half - it means the whole team must have defended really well.
"We also made three or four big chances, but if you want to win you need to take them in the right moments and I think that is what we are [sometimes] missing against the top teams in the Premier League."
Daichi Kamada came off with a slight hamstring pull caused after he jarred his knee. Glasner said the extent of the injury would be assessed today but that it was likely he would be sidelined 'for a few weeks'.
