Conference League:

Union Saint-Gilloise 0-3 Fenerbahce

Goals: Batshuayi, Oosterwolde, Tadic (F)

Michy Batshuayi has his third Conference League victim in Union Saint-Gilloise as the former Blues hitman did the damage on his return to his homeland.

The Fenerbahce striker's sucker puncher at the far-post gave Çağlar Söyüncü's flick-on the finish it merited and the visitors a 1-0 lead.

A quiet second 45 minutes followed for the Crystal Palace one-timer who now has a sexy tally of 19 goals across all competitions for double-chasing Fenerbahce.

That's no mean feat for a journeyman who is all too often accused of always landing on his feet by finding clubs willing to give him an escape route despite his struggled.

In the grand scheme of things that quality strike inside 20 minutes was all Batshuayi did as he made way for Edin Dzeko on 77 minutes.

But for a man with a Standard Liège past and links it doesn't get any better than gracing the pitch of their bitter rivals Anderlecht, where the game was played, with a goal.

Jayden Oosterwolde and a Dusan Tadic penalty completed the rout as the Turks have a foot-and-a-half in the quarter-finals.
