They do love their injury time goals against the Albion.
Fulham repeated their trick from the opening weekend of the season when an injury time goal saved the day - and a point - at Brighton - here it was the magical boot of Harry Wilson doing the trick. This time it meant three points.
Wilson is having a golden season to remember and when sub Charalampos Kostoulas brought down Josh King 25 yards out, you knew what was coming.
Sure enough the Welsh wizard curled over the wall to beat the outstretched hand of Bart Verbruggen to complete a second half comeback after a largely anaemic first half. The keeper may have been culpable, having got a hand to the ball that was not firm enough, but no-one at the Hammy end witnessing it go in was about to complain.
It was a perfect response to last week's disappointing late loss at Leeds and meant the optimism was bouncing around the Cottage again at full time. "Harry Wilson, he's done it again!" they sang. The winger has a flair for the dramatic - and for late goals.
Late was the word because neither side looked in much of a hurry to make their afternoon count at the outset and it was fully 20 minutes before Harry Wilson's too-high shot from 25 yards out finally roused home fans.
The Whites came closer not long after when Raul Jimenez wriggled free to fire at Verbruggen, then the Mexican almost managed to twist into a telling shooting position after a Kevin knock-down.
But rather than prove a springboard to greater things, it was Brighton who stole a march when Yasin Ayari was allowed to drift into the left edge of the Fulham penalty area before unleashing a shot into the top corner that Bernd Leno could not keep out, despite getting a touch.
And it almost got worse when Kaoru Mitoma broke down the left and shot at Leno rather than square for an unmarked Ferdi Kadioglu, who still nearly headed the rebound in, with Timothy Castagne just getting back in time to clear off the line.
Brighton were looking in control, but the story would change.
Alex Iwobi was back in the action and Marco Silva decided he needed another of his returning Afcon players - introducing Samuel Chukwueze on the hour. It soon paid off. A long ball from Joachim Andersen found the Nigerian in space and he raced forward before composing himself to fire low past Verbruggen.
Albion thought they had recaptured the lead immediately when Danny Welbeck converted following a swift counter-attack, but VAR alerted ref Michael Oliver to the fact he was just offside when put through by Mitoma. And Leno's save soon after prevented a Welbeck header from finding the roof of the net.
It laid the platform for the Wilson show that has become something of recurring theme for Whites fans to enjoy.

It's time to give Harry a large contract. Without him they would be facing relegation. Also where is this striker they have been promising?
