Spurs have bolstered their backroom staff by appointing Bri Campos to Robert Vilahamn’s coaching team, subject to work permit.

She takes up the role of women’s first team coach, having previously been a part of Robert’s backroom staff during his time at BK Hacken, where they finished as runners-up in the Damallsvenskan (Sweden’s top flight) and reached the Swedish Cup final in 2023.

She said: “I’m really excited to be here and be part of this project, there’s a lot of long-term goals which makes it exciting to be a part of.

“The team is coming from a very good campaign last term and I want to help as much as possible to build from that, it’s a good project to help develop players and help continue the progress of the club.”

A midfielder in her playing days, she enjoyed spells at Baylor University, Aland United, Umea IK and Vittsjo GIK, while also representing Mexico at international level.

Bri will join Vicky Jepson (senior assistant coach) and Chris Williams (goalkeeping coach) on the club’s coaching staff.

Anton Blackwood has left his role as first team transitional coach.
