Saturday roundup: Huge relief for Fulham as they end troubling run with victory over Wolves

Fulham fans will be breathing massive sighs of relief after seeing their side secure a crucial 3-0 win to end a run of defeats that was dragging them down into the Premier League danger zone.
They badly needed a change of narrative after successive losses to Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Arsenal and Newcastle in the Premier League and nothing but three points against a winless Wolves would have done at Craven Cottage today.
Early nerves were settled by a Ryan Sessegnon goal and a red card for Wolves' Emmanuel Agbadou in the first half for denying Josh King a goalscoring opportunity set the Whites on their way.
Wilson added a second gaol before Yerson Mosquera scored an own goal to cap a great afternoon for Marco Silva's men. Fulham rose up to 14th in the table with the win.
In South London, a goal in each half guided Crystal Palace to a 2-0 win over west London rivals Brentford. Jean-Philippe Mateta struck first at Selhurst Park on the half hour and a Nathan Collins own goal after 51 minutes settled the outcome.
Mateta's brilliant looping header put the Eagles in charge as they ended a run of three league games without a win. The Bees disappointed in their aim to build on last week's impressive 3-0 win over champions Liverpool.
Joao Pedro's first half goal was enough to give Chelsea their customary three points at Tottenham - but both teams are trailing in the wake of league leaders Arsenal who increased their lead at the top to seven points with a 2-0 win at Burnley. Viktor Gyokeres and Declan Rice scored first half goals to put Mikel Arteta's men in control.
The Gunners have now won nine games in a row, in all competitions and not conceded to anyone since September 28 - a run of seven clean sheets.
In the Championship, there were draws for Charlton (1-1 v Swansea) and Millwall (2-2 at Oxford). But QPR lost 4-1 to Ipswich Town at Loftus Road despite a first half goal from Rumarn Burrell.
Charlie Kelman netted for the Addicks against Swansea, while Thiarno Ballo and Jake Cooper scored for the Lions at Oxford on the occasion of his 400th Millwall appearance.
In the FA Cup, their was an inglorious first round exit for AFC Wimbledon, beaten 2-0 at Plough Lane by National League side Gateshead and Bromley also dropped out of the competition after slipping to a 2-1 home defeat to fellow League Two outfit Bristol Rovers.
"It look like it mattered more to them than us," was the damning verdict of Dons boss Johnnie Jackson.
Jemiah Umolou's goal for Bromley came too late to save Bromley from a 'smash and grab defeat'.
Barnet are also out of the cup. Callum Stead scored late on at Fleetwood, but it was not enough, as the Bees lost 2-1 at Highbury Stadium.
Sutton United march on, however. They beat Telford 2-1 with goals from David Ogbonna and Ashley Nadesan.
