Nketiah refuses to choose between Champions League and Premier League

By Alessandro Schiavone in Eindhoven

Arsenal hotshot Eddie Nketiah has no preference over winning a first-ever Champions League or a maiden league title since the Invincibles in 2004.

And Arsenal being Arsenal, one of the stellar sides in English football, there’s no risk that they would every try to bite more than what they can chew.

And Nketiah, who opened his Champions League account in the 1-1 draw with PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday, is shooting for the moon.

He told Capital Football: “It’s great to get my first start in Eindhoven and first goal.

"Unfortunately we couldn’t get the three points but I am enjoying it.

"Premier League or Champions League? I want [to win] both, our dream is to win all of it.

"The Champions League is a great competition to be in, tactically teams change a lot [compared to the Prem].

"We worked so hard to get here and we’re gonna keep pushing every day to deliver and hopefully achieve our dreams.

“All of us have that in us, you know. There’s no point being in a competition if you don’t dream to win.

"We have the quality to do so and we’re pushing every day to win every tournament that we enter.

"That’s our aim and the aim of Arsenal Football Club.”
