David Raya spoke to Capital Football, Hayters TV and the Sun in the mixed zone in the afternath of Arsenal's 2-1 win over Slavia Prague on Wednesday. Here is what he replied to our outlet's questions.

David, you went from being a decent keeper at Brentford to one of the best in the world at Arsenal. How did you pull it off?

"I think it's a little bit of everything. Belief in myself which is very very important. Every day I work very, very hard to try and help the team as possible on those type of nights. It's just the belief I have in myself and the belief the staff and the coach have in me. That gives you that extra edge and that extra motivation to keep doing it every single week and the consistency which I have had throughout the years is a big factor."

On whether he still dwells on the Champions League final defeat to PSG and whether it's still in the system: "Well, Budapest will never be out of the system! It's something that is gonna live with me, with us [forever]... and hopefully we can win the Champions League together. It's down to us to make it better this year!"

On Gyökeres who finally got off the mark in the Champions League:

"Obviously it's not easy not playing and not playing the minutes that you want. But we have a very big squad where everyone is available now. And it's gonna be really good for him this performance which is gonna give him a lot of confidence. We know how good he is in these types of games and football so I am really happy for him."
