David Moyes: Ogbonna? He's getting older but I trust him

David Moyes said that age is starting to catch up with Angelo Ogbonna, adding however that he can still do a job if called upon.

Ogbonna turns 36 in May and is the club's joint-longest servant with Michail Antonio, behind Aaron Cresswell who joined a year earlier in 2014.

Defender Ogbonna has played as little as 317 Premier League minutes for the Hammers this season with Nayef Aguerd, Kostas Mavropanos and Kurt Zouma all ahead in the pecking order.

Asked whether he's still in his plans after the 3-0 trashing at Man United, Moyes told Capital Football in the press conference: "Angelo has been a great servant for us [but] he's getting a bit older.

"He does a good job, we've good four good centre-halves really.

"He's been incredible reliable for me and one of the boys who I can rely on every week because he's such a good lad.

"If I need to put him out, I trust him."
